Martí’s Song for Freedom/Martí y sus versos por la libertad was awarded the International Literacy Association’s 2018 Children’s and Young Adult Book Award in Intermediate Nonfiction. I headed to Austin to accept the award, and met some great people while I was there. A few photos below.
